At Wood Floor Warehouse, the most popular wood species we offer is Oak. Our click engineered oak will tick a lot of boxes for many of our customers who prefer not to use glue for installing their floor. It also has the advantage of no drying time.
This excellent click oak wood floor comes with a generous 3mm top layer, ensuring that it will last for many years and even be capable of multiple sandings. The real oak top layer is a rustic grade so expect to see a lot of beautiful natural features such as knots, colour variance and shakes. The finish is sanded and then lacquered. If you are also considering an oiled wood floor, we highly recommend reading our article on oiled versus lacquered wood flooring, where we explain the pros and cons of each.
Understanding humidity and acclimatising for any engineered floor is important so check out our guide to humidity and wood flooring for an in-depth understanding on acclimating a new floor and how it will behave after installation.
