Oak Gentle White is among the Egger Design Flooring range, a clever water-resistant floor collection which we think is among the highest quality floors available. It can't strictly be classified as laminate flooring or as Luxury Vinyl Tiles, due to a unique construction it contains many of the best features of both, producing a very innovative and high quality floor covering.
Egger's Oak Gentle White is highly water resistant and it also has an industry first self-repairing surface layer, which can remove indentations and scratches without any requirement for tools. It is manufactured with a unique combination of wood chip fibers and a double sealed external coating, helping to give this Design Floor increased moisture protection. It is commonly used in both domestic and commercial installations such as kitchens or even busy offices. The Design Flooring range is most impressive in areas where a water is present, for example, when used as bathroom flooring.
Among the many qualities of this floor, we love that it is so environmentally friendly. It is 70% constructed from wood fibers and is free from PVC and plasticisers. It has also been awarded with an R10 anti-slip rating.
Installation is easy and DIY friendly. You can even walk on it straight after installation. We highly recommend checking if you have a level sub-floor and also purchase an underlay which is compatible with LVT flooring. We also recommend reading our how to install LVT flooring guide. It installs just like a regular laminate or click luxury vinyl tile floor.
This Floor is one of the few items that we don't hold in stock, so delivery can be delayed. Please contact us for delivery dates.
It's important to inspect your laminate flooring before laying. If you find any defects at all then DO NOT INSTALL THE FLOOR until you speak with your supplier to determine the best way forward. Many manufacturers will not validate a warranty if the defective flooring is installed. It is not uncommon to find what appears to be very slight damage to the edges and especially the corners of laminate floors. This will mostly be superficial as the machining process can create small imperfections along the click system that will have no effect on the quality or performance of the floor. However large broken areas or large areas of damaged click systems are a cause for concern and you should contact your supplier before proceeding with the installation.
